That farewell isn’t happening here yet –we had another day of swimming in our unheated pool on Friday –it’s unbelievable that the water is still warm enough to enjoy! Usually by this we get pretty chilly at night, but we’ve been in the upper 60’s and 70’s. Personally, I’m ready to say farewell. I hope fall comes soon 🙂
I WISH we were saying goodbye to summer and its accompanying mosquitoes! It is worse than ever this year, and no hope of relief until a first frost sometime in the second half of October.
This has the looks of some lovely summer memories.
Sigh.. I always hate to see it go. I think I’ll just hang on to it, this year. Lovely photos, K.
I’m not saying goodbye yet. Not until the calendar says so.

Lovely photos.
I, for one, am happy to see summer go. You know what summers are like in Virginia. I should live in a place with cooler, shorter summers.
I can’t wait for fall.

We oldies can just pretend its summer till the cold comes!
Congrats about the book win! You lucky thing!
