Making is different. It is special, meaningful and long-lasting in a world full of disposable items. It stretches us to do things we never thought we could do, enables us to enjoy child-like pride over something we have created, connects us to people in our community and around the world and perhaps most importantly, creates cherished moments and memories that are sure to out-live us.

I’m so very pleased with how this turned out! Can hardly wait to see it all completed and put together in another week or two…
WOW!!! Or as Gary would say, HOLY CATS! That’s gorgeous. I’m impressed!!!
That looks great!

You did a wonderful job if it. I hope you are feeling well. Hugs to you, Karen.

What an amazing quilt!
Beautiful!
I’m making a few different things for Christmas, including scarves for my girlfriends and photo calendars for the grandparents.
That is just lovely! Yes, I am making gifts this year. I just hope they turn out 😉
wow, it’s just gorgeous! Yes, I’m making some sweet n spicy nuts for Dave’s family party. Or maybe chocolate & peppermint covered marshmallows. Or both LOL!
Beautiful! Where on earth do you find the patience to sit there and cut out the pieces, then sew them together – AND make a pattern that isn’t repetitive? I’m impressed!
A rotary cutter and a tool called “Shape Cut” let me cut 4 layers at a time — the blocks were all 8.5 inches in the first phase — and I had a LOT of help in the design!
I love that design, it looks…like retro digital!!
Wow! This is beautiful. From someone who can barely sew buttons, I am soooo impressed!
