- My undecorated house
😦 - Way too many unfinished projects that are supposed to be Christmas gifts
- Attempts to not snack and get off pain pills = major grouch fest and tears and biting off the heads of those whom I love
- It snowed for 10 minutes this morning, which is not nearly enough. (On the other hand, as long as I’m wearing Frankenboot, I suppose I shouldn’t wish for snow at all. )
- This post, because I like the idea of shrinking myself into a Christmas village scene. It brightened my day.
All I have is a wreath and an undecorated tree right now. But that’s progress.
Hey, you need to give yourself a break. You’re in a boot!! Rope those other family members into decorating –you sit on the couch and give instructions.
I have no advice to give on the snacking. I never learned how to deal with it, although menopause seems to have changed my eating habits. Unfortunately, I think it’s far too late for that to change my waistline because it has also changed my metabolism 🙂
I wanna shrink and be in a tiny Christmas village too. there is a famous house we tour–The Biltmore estate in Asheville, NC on occasion at Christmad. If I ever become wealthy, I’m paying those people to let me spend the night there and be served cocoa in the library whilst wearing soft pjs.
I haven’t decorated yet, either. Mostly that’s because I can’t stand to look at Christmas stuff for three weeks, but still.
How about a massage to take the edge off?
a person has to try to be patient with this season and relax, hmm? best wishes to you and your foot! 🙂
I understand! Hugs! Carol
