Count your blessings, name them one by one…
I’m using Thursday posts to focus on thankfulness — and instead of counting blessings, I’m challenging myself to come up with them alphabetically. (You can find the rest of the posts in this series here.)
Welcome to R week!
Rainbows
Reading — what a gift to be able to read!
You, my dear Reader, are a blessing to me. ♥
Raindrops on Roses (and whiskers on kittens…)
Time for Reflection…
Please share some things for which you are thankful…
Lovely pictures.
I too regret that people who visit my blog may have to put up with ads I have not agreed to. However, wordpress is an excellent platform for my blog and I guess I can only avoid ads by purchasing my own site. Don’t know if I’m ready to do that, just yet.
I’m thankful that I can read your blog and see the wonderful pictures. I use Ghostery in my browser so I have absolutely no ads on your blog. I’ll add running to your R list because today is the first time I dragged myself out to go run with my best friend. I’m in the middle of a nasty depression and I can’t wait for the T week to be thankful for Therapy. I read your comments on Derfwad Manor and I think you are a wonderful uplifting woman. Thanks.
Thank you for your kind words, Véronique. And you are welcome to be thankful for therapy at any and all times!
I am enjoying your gratitude alphabet!
Reading–yes! And reason, relatives, rain and rivers.
I love rainbows as well. I have seen quite a few over the last few weeks.
Oh yes to have the privilege to read! so thankful for that too.
Recover … as in being able to heal from a sickness or an injury.
Roses
Running Not that I run that often these days but I can if need be
Refrigerators … need I expand on that one?
Relationships
Ok that is a few I can think of for now.
Have a great weekend.
To all the wonderful Rs that the others have stated, I might add Rhyme, which makes the world more interesting and playful.
I agree with Veronique that you are an uplifting woman, Karen, and I love your alphabetic reminders nudging us toward gratitude.
I am sad that I am no longer able to access Derfwad Manor – it asks for a login ID and password. Is this because I was not on of the original participators? Because I lurked too much? Because I ate too much chocolate? Not enough chocolate?

Derfwad Manor has moved to a temporary site while Mrs. G. is rebuilding the Manor. You can find it at

Now I’m Really grateful – I did some searching and found derfwad manor under another name. Whew!
REST (whenever and wherever it happens), RHUBARB, RASPBERRIES, RAISINS, RAIN (although we’ve had much too much of it lately), RADIO (which I still listen to on occasion), and RUN-on sentences (that by now you know I am very fond of) Hugs!.
