Count your blessings, name them one by one…
It’s taken me over eleven months but we have finally come to the end. I’m following through on my promise to use Thursday posts to focus on thankfulness — and instead of counting blessings, I’ve challenged myself to come up with them alphabetically. (You can find the rest of the posts in this series here.)
Welcome to Z week!
Back when I started with the letter A, I quoted the first page of Dr. Seuss’ ABC book, so it only seems appropriate that I end the alphabet the same way:
BIG Z… little z… What begins with Z?
I do. I am a Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz, as you can plainly see.
Oh, how I love you, Dr. Seuss!
Z is for zinnias and zebras and perhaps most importantly of all, SLEEP Zzzzzzzzzzz.
It doesn’t matter if you are a new parent or an aging one, naps should be taken whenever they become available.

It’s been a few years, but I was always thankful for the time my son spent volunteering at the Zoo.
Hi Karen, I just saw a comment of yours to pop up at Hilary’s, so thought I’d stop by. Hmmm… thankful with a Z? I’m thankful that I have a Zest for life. I must admit though, that I get frustrated sometimes when I can’t do all things that I want to do; however, when I can enjoy nature, blog, read, walk, bike, spend time with friends, etc,, I’ve very happy.

I am thankful for the ZIPPERS on my coats, jackets, etc.. I am thankful for the ZANY antics of comedians of old along with clowns and pirates in any parade that usually bring many smiles. There have been a few times when I have been thankful that the oven timer reached ZERO several minutes before I needed to leave the house.
Zippers, zzzs, zinnias, the zippy way I feel when I stay up too late.
