I love lilacs. Mine are not in bloom yet. I looked at them on Friday and soon they will open up. I will be able to smell their lovely fragrance. Are yours open yet or is this from last years blooms?
This picture was taken in my MIL’s yard a few weeks ago, but the lilacs here are beginning to bloom now. Perfect timing for the Lilac Festival! (I don’t have my own personal lilac, so I enjoy them where I find them.)

Oh how I miss lilacs! I had a huge lilac hedge along the back of my yard in Minneapolis. The smell was glorious! Enjoy yours for me!
