Pink Saturday: Cathedral Wash

DSCN1404 Pink walls of Cathedral Wash

Cathedral Wash is carved out by water flowing downstream to the Colorado River. At times it is a mere trickle  or even a dry streambed, but when it rains heavily in the mountains, a flash-flood of water and debris change the landscape.

Caught in perfect lighting, the walls here look pink.
